I am learning an important lesson as I meditate on the life of Christ. Psalm 22 describes His experience on the cross. In verse one, He screams out in agony "why have You forsaken ME?", feeling rejected by His Father. But notice, FAITH spoke FIRST! "My God! My God!" He understood the character of the Father, and we need to as well. If we do, when trial comes, we will have His strength...regardless of how we FEEL. The tenor of the Psalm turns in verse 22, when faith overcame feeling: "I will declare Thy name unto My brethren; in the midst of the congregation will I praise Thee." Faith wins! Praise the Lord!!!!!!
