About me: I have been an Adventist since 1988 and have been active in the faith the whole time. God has given me evangelistic success in planting a church and one-on-one in reaching friends. Many of the videos I have put up contain lessons on how to win souls. It is my hope as you watch them that you will understand more about the science of soul winning. A number of others are video Bible studies and sermons. By God's grace my local church in Airdrie, Alberta Canada has sponsored me to improve the existing Bible study videos here and put them on their website. Here's a few thoughts on Star Trek

Some people who believe in evolution and reject God in favour of the modern worldview claim there's no need for spirituality. Well I noticed a parallel between the first six Star Trek movies and Bible truth that I like to share with people like that.

In Star Trek the Motion Picture we have a character looking for its creator.
Star Trek 2 the Wrath of Khan deals with the subject of creation and ends with Spock (who is half human, and half from a place where people are able to control themselves better) dying to save the rest of the crew.
Spock rises from the dead in Star Trek 3.
Star Trek 4 has the Enterprise crew coming back to earth in our time.
Star Trek 5 has them going to heaven.
And Star Trek 6 opens the door to a brave new world of adventures after we make total peace with our enemies.

That is the exact thought structure and in the exact order one needs to comprehend in order to become a born again, Adventist Christian. Although when I share this thought with non-Christians who are into science fiction I leave out the word 'Adventist', it always makes them think deeply.

Sorry. I remember star trek and i got the impression that it was all about man improving himself. no parallel could ever be drawn between star trek and Jesus.
Signs of the end times has always been a great way of sharing the bible and Jesus with people i know and the 7 trumpets is just part of that. Sorry again.

HopefulOne - What my whole presence on this site is all about is helping church members be the best outreach workers (therefore those who sound the trumpet) they can be. I do not have any chip on my shoulder or axe to grind with the church nor am I trying to distract anyone onto any pet side issue. My thoughts on Star Trek and my previous post are for people to use in trying to get a foot in the door with others who are generally not open to the truth . So no I am not going to watch your videos on the trumpets and I would advise you to care enough about others to be willing to put the truth into words they can understand. Are you trying to win arguments or souls?
